Re-Intubation Among Critical Care Patients: A Scoping Review

چکیده

Objective: This paper aimed to identify relevant literature about what are the factors that contributing re-intubation and current intervention overcome it among critical care patients. Methods: A scoping review was carried out with 17 articles which publish year 2010 2021. The search systematically done by using PRISMA flow diagram. quality assessment conducted Effective Public Health Practice Project (EPHPP) tool authors applied inter-rater reliability for included articles. Results: Four themes were emerged in this review. Those criteria extubation, of extubation failure re-intubation, medical conditions associated reduce reintubation rate Conclusion: patients can be reduced when protective measures take place properly. use non-invasive ventilation between successful spontaneous breathing trials proper usage analgesics sedatives during monitoring indicators like blood urea nitrogen central venous pressure.
